Our Services

It all begins with your brief. Maybe you want a complete re-design of your entire garden. Or perhaps you need a solution to an under used, over grown patio. Whatever it is, I will listen and design a solution to suit all your requirements.

Design it.

At the initial meeting I will listen to your brief, how you would like to use your outdoors spaces, plus any practical requirements. It's essential I get a sense of your style and preferences so that they can be reflected in the design proposal.

Two to three designed solutions will be presented for the required space and after another consultation a final design will be presented.

Along with the overall design, a plant guide of what to plant where will be supplied so that in the long term, your garden can grow and flourish freely.

Plant it.

The fun bit. As part of your design package, I will include a planting guide which will enable you to select plants which will thrive and flourish within your garden.

I can help in buying the plants and planting your garden. If this is a service you would like we can discuss a price based on the size of the garden.

Maintain it.

After you have designed and planted your garden you will want to sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labours. If garden maintenance is not something you have time for, I can put in place regular visits to ensure weeding, feeding and plant health checks are taken care of.

You may also like to have seasonal bulbs planted which can be part of this maintenance package.

After our first meeting, typically in your garden, I will send you a summary brief with a fee proposal for you to approve. The proposal will be broken into steps, typically ranging from purely concept design to planting and maintenance, depending on what you feel you need. In any event, you will not be obliged to commit to all the steps upfront.

After Care & Maintanence

We take great care in recommending the best types of plants and planting schemes based on your specific garden environment and as with any garden, plants need time to find their feet. We recommend to feed plants when first planted and regular watering throughout the first year of a newly planted garden to ensure the young plants get the best start possible. However, as with all things natural and exposed to the elements, sometimes bad things happen to good healthy plants, and even when all things are considered hard frosts or hot summers can take their toll on new and established plants. For a small charge, we are happy to make an annual review of the garden to make sure that the garden is all you hoped it would be and to make any adjustments where necessary.
